CritiqueTime.com grew out of the need and disire for artists to get some feedback on their work.  A lot of people really craved the scoring system and wanted to know what the jurors were saying about their work on OnlineJuriedShows.com.  Not all jurors left feedback and the scoring was a bit vague.

All artists who strive to grow a career out of creating their work needs some type of feedback.  The Critique.  Any art student who has ever taken an art class has been in or part of some type of critique.  It's when your peers talk about your work and vice versa.  It makes for a better artist all around.  By crtitically thinking about others works and have a fresh set of eyes take a look at yours, a better direction in your work will emerge.  Sometimes it hard to stomach the comments about your work, especially when you put so much into it.  But that is the life of the artist.  You simply cannot create work and publicy put it out there without generating some type of response.  That is what Art is all about.

So, here in this reletivly safe haven of posting your work, you can get the kind of feedback you need.  No one on here is anonymous.  If you post your work or leave a comment, it comes back to you.  That should keep the riff raff out, leaving only dedicated individuals who truely want to improve their work.

It doesn't matter if you're a rank amature just getting started or have been painting for a lifetime.

We would love to hear what you have to say.  We work hard to address every issue that comes up and are always striving to make CritiqueTime.com better.

Thank you.

ps - be nice.  I like nice people.
